Mercedes
have planted the new 6.3 litre V8 from AMG into the humble ML SUV to
create a monster of an off-roader (!) to rival the Porsche Cayenne.
510bhp is a lot of power but a 0-60mph time under 5 seconds is still amazing when considering the 2.5 tonne weight of the ML.
The
usual Mercedes gadgetry abounds in this top of the range ML. Adaptive
damping, self levelling air suspension and computer controlled 4-wheel
drive help keep the leviathan on the road.
If you fancy
monumental power coupled with monumental size (and monumental thirst)
then make a quick b-line for the monster Merc before cars such as this
cease to exist.
