In response to the latest M5, Mercedes has unveiled the curious but
highly desirable CLS coupe / saloon / sports car - delete as applicable!
The styling is certainly unique and may not be to everyone's taste, but
there's no doubting the universal appeal of a 5.4 litre supercharged V8
pushing out as nearly 500bhp. Even though it weighs around 2 tons,
acceleration is still monumental, with 60mph arriving from rest in just
4.6 sec. Huge 8 piston callipers also ensure that it stops as well as it
goes. Handling is admirable but still not in the driver focused M5's
league.
