Ferrari 430 Scuderia |
It's not just the straight line acceleration that stands out with the
430 Scuderia, although 3.4sec to 60mph is worth shouting about. No, it's
the fact that this car can lap Ferrari's Fiorano test track in the same
time as a 660bhp Enzo. Perhaps development input from a certain Michael
Schumacher had something to do with that!
The car has shed 100kg
in weight from the standard F430, and benefits from race spec carbon
brakes and the latest F1 sequential transmission with shift speeds down
to an incredible 60ms. Last but not least, gone are the flared nostrils
of the F430, replaced with more aggressive chiselled air intakes, which
makes for an altogether more purposeful stance. Track day heaven for the
well to do.
