Having set a new production car record of just 7min 32sec around the
infamous Nurgburgring, the awesome Gemballa GTR600 can justifiably lay
claim to be the fastest A-B road car in the world.
Gemballa take a
'standard' Porsche 911 GT3, strap on a couple of turbochargers add some
striking bespoilered bodywork and turns out a 600bhp road legal racer!
60mph disappears in under 4 seconds on it's way to a claimed 211mph top
speed. Performance wasn't the only factor in that record lap. The 8-pot
braking system is possibly the best seen on any road car.
