Holland makes it's first entry into the supercar market with the stylish
Spyker C8 Spyder, four years after the prototype's launch in 2000. The
Dutch company's aluminium bodied convertible features intricate
detailing and modern style throughout. Power is provided by Audi in the
form of their latest V8, tuned to over 400bhp for the C8. Spyker claim a
300kmh (186mph) max which seems quite plausible. Stopping power is
equally impressive thanks to 36cm 6-pot AP vented disks all round.
The
C8 will shortly be available in the UK at en expected price of around
£145,000 - putting it well into Ferrari and Lamborghini territory.
