In the C6, Chevrolet have now produced a car that can go head to head
with Europe's finest. Handling is now comparable with the best that
Porsche and Ferrari have to offer thanks to new technology active
suspension and stability control. Power is also plentifully supplied by
the 400bhp LS2 6-litre V8 which along with the impressive fade free
brakes, help the C6 lap the Nurburgring in under 8 minutes - the mark of
a great supercar.
Aesthetically the C6 is also all new. The car
is now more compact (911 size), fixed headlamps are used for the first
time on a Corvette, the interior has been tastefully updated and you
even have the option of an electric hood. And all this for £50k in the
UK, or an unbelievable £30k in the USA!
