Chrysler's new Crossfire SRT-6 makes a welcome addition to the new breed
of superfast sports coupes. The SRT (Street and Racing Technology) is
powered by the supercharged V6 from the previous generation Mercedes AMG
SLK. This pushes out 330 bhp for a commendable 5sec 0-60mph sprint.
However, despite it's straight line speed, the SRT is more a cruiser
than a dynamically handling drivers car.
Looks are superb, and
with the advantage of a coupe/convertible arrangement and a street price
in the UK about £30,000, the SRT looks like a good buy for those
wanting straight line urge with good looking style.
